Many people may never have considered that choosing a desk color aligned with astrology can affect work life and daily energy. However, according Thai astrology beliefs passed down over generations, colors that correspond to the planet governing our birth day are believed to have genuine power to bring luck and success. Choosing desk, chair, and work desk items colors that align with your birth day is therefore more than just aesthetics—it is arranging the energy around you according to principles of ancient Thai astrology.

The Origin of Color-by-Day Beliefs in Thai Astrology

According to traditional Thai astrology texts, the seven planets each govern a day of the week, and each planet has its own color that reflects the energy and properties of that celestial body. This belief has deep roots in Thai culture since ancient times, appearing in rituals, clothing, and home arrangements throughout Thai history.

The key principle is that a color matching the planet governing your birth day helps "connect energy" between you and that planet, allowing energy to flow better—especially in spaces where you spend most of your time, like your work desk, which is the center of thought, decision-making, and life progress.

Precautions and Correct Practices

According to Thai astrology beliefs, here are things to know and be cautious about when choosing work desk colors with proper alignment:

• Colors to avoid — According to Thai astrology texts, colors of planets that are "enemies" to your birth day's planet should be avoided in your work area. For example, Sunday-born people should avoid deep blue, while Saturday-born people should avoid bright orange, etc.
• Don't change everything at once — Gradually adjusting item colors one piece at a time is better than rushing to change everything at once, allowing energy to adjust gradually.
• Cleanliness and orderliness matter more than color — According to Thai belief, a messy and dirty work desk will drain good energy, no matter how correctly you choose colors.
• Intention and attitude — Choosing colors with proper alignment is supplementary, not a replacement for hard work and effort. According to Thai belief, good destiny must be combined with sincere intention to bear fruit.
